AS197754 Peering Policy

AS 197754 is an ASPA and RPKI ROA aware network and does strict invalid filtering on both on all connections.

AS 197754 has an open peering policy, with these requirements:

• You must have a public ASN with at least one globally routable IPv6 prefix. Legacy IP (IPv4) only not accepted.
• Your PeeringDB entry should be up-to-date, including NOC and Abuse contacts as well as IX locations.

Route acceptance requirements for peering:

• You need to have RPKI configured on all routes you wish to announce to AS 197754 via peering. Routes with no or invalid RPKI entries are rejected. Routes without RPKI are only accepted through transit.
• AS 197754 only accepts AS path length 1 via peering (no prepending, no transit, etc) (except when downstreams were explicitly discussed)
• AS 197754 does not accept any prefixes longer than /48 (or /24 for IPv4)
• AS197754 can currently peer at shared exchanges, through the shared subnet(s) at ColoClue or via private interconnect in shared datacenters, please contact NOC if you are interested.

AS197754 does not peer with route servers on virtual exchanges, but tries to peer with route servers everywhere else.
